Shane

Handsome yet wholesome Joe Jonas plays Shane Gray, the lead singer of the band Connect Three. Camp Rock propelled the group to fame, so he's returned to mentor their new students as a thank you, and hopefully to rediscover the reason he loved music in the first place.

A young Joe had no ambition to be a singer, dreaming instead of a career as a comic actor. Luckily for the Jonas Brothers, Joe accompanied brother Nick to an audition for "Oliver" where the director wondered if he could sing too. As it turns out, he can - the Jonas Brothers' latest tour sold out in less than two minutes.

Jason

Jason, the guitarist of Connect Three, is not really of this planet; he's particularly fixated on building a birdhouse. He's played by Kevin Jonas who is a lot sharper than his fictional counterpart: in his early teens, he picked up a guitar and a 'teach yourself guitar' book to learn the basic chords; now he's wowing record-breaking crowds with his astonishing guitar solos.

Nate

Nate's the practical, slightly bossy one of Connect Three, and he's the reason Shane's been sent back to Camp Rock in the first place. Nick Jonas who plays him may not be bossy, but he certainly gets things done: without him there may have been no Jonas Brothers. He was discovered at the age of six singing in a barber's shop, and has gone on to be a singer, songwriter, actor and dancer, as well as learning the piano, bass, guitar and drums.

Mitchie

Demi Lovato makes her big-screen debut as Mitchie Torres, an aspiring singer-songwriter who gets the chance of a lifetime to enrol at the prestigious Camp Rock. Can she overcome her fears and become all she can be? And what's that glint in Shane's eye when he looks at her?
